Position Description:
Reporting to the Director of Global Sourcing, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing global supplier relationships, total overall spend (across ~2000 SKUs), and strategic procurement for the Electronic Components category, as well as their financial and operational performance. Covering the entire sourcing and procurement process, responsibilities include strategy development and execution, risk management, supplier identification and selection, negotiation, order management, invoice resolution, reporting, and budget forecasting. Also, works closely with the Engineering, Quality, and NPI teams to enhance our global product generation process to ensure we incorporate our strategic supplier partnerships in our new product innovation process. Will serve as an expert in the department to help provide guidance and direction to less experienced buyers.

• Develop and lead the implementation of global strategic sourcing and risk mitigation strategies for the electronics category.
• Align strategies to overall business strategy and new product growth initiatives
• Build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across sites to ensure successful execution and alignment of sourcing / risk strategies and ongoing supplier activities
• Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships
• Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to maximize Total Procured Value and drive continuous operational and financial supply chain improvement
• Manage sourcing, requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms of supply agreements to deliver Total Procured Value objectives

Position Description:

Reporting to the Head of Global Supply Chain Management, the Director of Global Supply Chain Planning & Analysis will provide strategic and tactical leadership to a global team ensuring all operational and financial objectives are met while fostering a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement to support the company’s commitment to meet customer requirements and exceed their expectations. Plan and drive improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the capabilities, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and responsiveness of the Planning department globally.
Develop and execute demand forecasting strategies and processes to accurately predict product demand, optimize finished goods (FG) inventory levels, and minimize stock-outs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand planning, inventory control, and replenishment strategies, taking into account varying market dynamics and customer preferences.
Drive the cross-functional review process to regularly evaluate and disposition FG’s for potential life cycle progression to minimize the impact of FG obsolescence on inventory and financial performance.
Develop and execute supply planning strategies and processes which effectively balance customer demand, inventory productivity, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Sourcing, Quality, Sales, and Operations to deliver required service levels, targeted inventory levels, and other key operational objectives, considering demand inputs, customer / NPI requirements, and manufacturing and supply constraints.
Optimize inventory levels to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring timely customer order fulfillment and minimizing backorders.
Develop and maintain robust analytical models and tools to analyze global supply chain data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Utilize statistical methods, data visualization, and other advanced techniques, to evaluate global supply chain performance and support decision making at strategic and tactical levels.
Proactively identify and quantify potential global supply chain risks and vulnerabilities.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and business continuity measures to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations that support customer service level objectives.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with x-functional teams globally to streamline processes and enhance overall SC performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Materials Management, Engineering or similar field.
10+ years’ experience in supply chain planning & analysis, forecasting, operations, and/or supply management.
5+ years directly leading demand and/or supply planning within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in an electrical/electronics manufacturing environment - RF/Microwave and ICs preferred.
Excellent leadership and people management skills with ability to inspire and retain a diverse global team.
Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements, working capital optimizations, and operational efficiencies in a global supply chain environment.
