Responsibilities:
• Drive sales, profit, and quality for the Boston service center.
• Conduct regular sales calls with existing major accounts and cultivate new accounts.
• Develop and present proposals or service contracts for HVM’s services and repair work.
• Review and approve contracts in line with Limits of Authority.
• Collaborate with the Region Director, Regional Sales Manager, and Marketing Services to promote new business opportunities.
• Develop and review the Area Profit Plan to ensure work aligns with business objectives.
• Conduct regular management committee meetings for effective communication and progress reviews.
• Prepare weekly invoicing and monthly Status Reports with staff.
• Audit and review field jobs.
• Supervise and ensure the safety and technical training of Field Engineers and Technicians.
• Coordinate technical training and support career development for field personnel.
• Review and recommend updates to field technical procedures.
• Develop and review proposals and field engineers’ reports.
• Schedule and coordinate technicians’ work with customers.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Industrial Service Industry.
• Strong communication, supervisory, organizational, and management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, internet research, and operating computer-controlled test equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, subordinates, and management, both verbally and in writing.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Willing to travel occasionally for field region coverage and company meetings.
• Physical requirements: ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, and focus on close vision tasks.
