Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician to support the maintenance, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment within a production facility. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability by troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, coordinating repairs, and supporting production operations.

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and repair activities on production equipment.
• Install new equipment and support equipment upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
• Support emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot high- and low-voltage electrical systems, including transformers and electrical distribution equipment.
• Repair and maintain CNC machines, punching and bending machines, cranes, motors, grinders, hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, compressed air systems, and related equipment.
• Prioritize preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency work orders using the CMMS system.
• Order replacement parts, tools, and maintenance materials as needed.
• Assist with supervision and coordination of outside contractors performing maintenance work.
• Support production by responding quickly to equipment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and complete required reports.
• Promote a safe work environment by identifying and correcting Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) concerns.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, spare parts, and equipment.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Training or experience in at least one skilled trade such as:
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical
  • Industrial Machine Maintenance
• Working knowledge of electrical codes.
• Experience performing industrial equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Experience with Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Skilled using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to complete maintenance documentation accurately.
• Willingness to work special projects during off-shift hours.

while accurately tracking productive labor time versus travel time. You will complete preventive
maintenance in accordance with customer-specific service programs and maintain detailed
documentation of all work performed, including parts usage and service records. This position requires
Stanley equipment updates and ANSI A156.10 standards, as well as keeping technical manuals and
documentation up to date. You will be responsible for maintaining company vehicles, tools, and
equipment in proper working conditions, managing service vehicle parts inventory, and ensuring all
equipment is tested and safety-checked before leaving job sites. A professional appearance and high-
quality workmanship are always expected, along with delivering excellent customer service and
maintaining positive customer relationships. You may also assist with training and mentoring other
technicians on installation and service methods.

• Train for 12-14 weeks for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)/National Board training/certification commissions.
• 120 hours of on-the-job training with another Inspector to complete training process.
• Perform new construction, repair, alteration and jurisdiction inspections of boilers and pressure vessels as required by the American Society of Mechanical Engineering Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME Code) Sections III, and National Board Code including referenced construction codes and standards of our clients.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

• High school diploma and equivalent (Military) work experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years of boiler and/or high-pressure steam & water system maintenance/operation experience
• 4+ years of mechanical experience with Boilers and Pressure Vessels in a power plant-Nuke or conventional MM/BT, or an SRO and/or a Steam PPWO/EOOW 3+ years
• Navy Nuke EM or ET with a minimum of 3yrs qualified SRO experience
• Quality Assurance inspections of mechanical equipment, water, and steam systems
• Boiler and/or steam system maintenance and operation
• Inspections on mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems
• NBIC Boiler Inspector Qualification a plus
• Insurance inspection service experience involving risk-based inspections and analysis
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office and web-based applications, Lotus Notes
• Clean driving record and must be able to pass a background check.
