Position Details:

The company is seeking a Quality Inspector to manage the final step in the manufacturing process. The Quality Inspector will ensure that both the quality of the components used and the final product shipped meet or exceed company’s internal specifications and the customer’s requirements. Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform final inspection of electrical, mechanical, and functional capabilities of our equipment prior to shipment
• Run equipment for the intent of fine tuning and finalizing machine prior to shipment
• Accurately complete inspection forms
• Interact with production and engineering as necessary to report and/or troubleshoot outstanding issues
• Keep inspection procedures and documents up to date to reflect any changes in product or processes
• Complete inspection of components as needed to determine a conformance/non-conformance status
• Perform calibration of tooling as needed
• Work with electrical engineering to review programs

Skills/Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant manufacturing environment
• Experience inspecting capital equipment strongly preferred
• Ability to read drawings and schematics
• Proficiency using standard measurement tools – calipers, micrometers etc.
• Knowledge and experience of basic electrical test instruments
• Programming knowledge and debugging abilities is helpful
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to climb and work on ladders
• Capable of standing for an entire workday

Job Description

This position is responsible for managing facility operations at two primary locations , including receipt, delivery, placement, and maintenance, and will play a key role in ensuring facility compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
