Job Description

The Batch Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all personnel and operational activities of the batch plant, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in daily operations. This leadership role involves managing the production process, coordinating materials, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the batch plant, including scheduling, production, and workforce supervision
• Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies, procedures, and best practices for all employees
• Oversee the concrete mixing process to ensure all batches meet customer specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and order materials, including cement, aggregates, admixtures, and replacement parts, to maintain uninterrupted plant operations
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Department of Transportation (DOT) standards
• Obtain and maintain required certifications by successfully completing DOT testing in multiple states
• Supervise all maintenance programs for the batch plant.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

• 5 years of experience operating batch plants (preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of concrete production processes and materials
• Ability to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Job Description

• Troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical apparatus.
• Perform as "lead" on projects.
• Perform all aspects of testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems, including troubleshooting capabilities, simple relay calibration, use of load recording instrumentation, low and medium voltage switchgear testing through 15 kV class.
• Test and troubleshoot moderately complex electrical systems, simple relay systems and power metering.
• Will compile complete, detailed reports promptly at end of project using a computer, and accurately process job billing and may perform complex analysis and evaluative tasks necessary to complete equipment labeling projects.
• Comply with job proposal and requirements from a client, including estimating man-hours and expenses, and developing scope and pricing.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, & Education:

• Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent and with work experience
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and various industry standards, such as OSHA and NFPA
• Strong background and experience in all types of switchgear testing through the 15 kV class
• Understanding of electrical theory and electrical power systems
• Communicate effectively, in writing and verbally
• Strong computer skills
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and night work. Must be available for out of-town and international travel

In this role, you will perform installation and service work in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner while accurately tracking productive labor time versus travel time. You will complete preventive maintenance in accordance with customer-specific service programs and maintain detailed documentation of all work performed, including parts usage and service records. This position requires Stanley equipment updates and ANSI A156.10 standards, as well as keeping technical manuals and documentation up to date. You will be responsible for maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment in proper working conditions, managing service vehicle parts inventory, and ensuring all equipment is tested and safety-checked before leaving job sites. A professional appearance and high-quality workmanship are always expected, along with delivering excellent customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships. You may also assist with training and mentoring other technicians on installation and service methods.

Job Description

• Focus on customer needs and satisfaction by troubleshooting, installation, validation, maintenance and service repair needs on pharmacy automated equipment.
• Perform 2nd Level hardware preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as some software maintenance.
• Schedule 1st Level (3rd party) resources, including preventative maintenance and service calls.
• Monitor and support 1st Level (3rd party) resources to complete emergency break fix service calls.
• Support the facility group with any enhancements or upgrades that may impact the operation of the company's system by providing information and technical knowledge for a successful implementation.
• Work with the facility (customer) to schedule appropriate downtime for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Provide a summary of work performed at the frequency and detail required by the facility to document the servicing of the system.
• Preplanned service calls outside of normal business hours may be required to accommodate user schedules, ex: preventative maintenance may be conducted during the evening.

• In order to be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years' experience in the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of Electronic / Electrical and computerized electro-mechanical systems such as robotics, conveyors, sensors and PLCs (specifically RS Logic).
• A good mechanical aptitude is desired, as is some level of expertise with computers (software, remote diagnostics, windows-based networking etc).
• And you must be service-minded and customer-focused.

• Performs service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in any Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.).
• Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation. Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs. Identifies new sales opportunities and communicates them internally.
• Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities.
• Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
• Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions. Troubleshoots equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Proactively identifies suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicates them further in the organization. Provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service. Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

• Advanced level ability to interact and communicate (written and verbal) information to varying levels within the organization.
• Advanced level of ability to use Microsoft Office products.
• Moderate ability to self-Project Manage using MS Project or Excel.
• Advanced ability to write test plans and reports detailing test results.

Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Bachelor's degree, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent military experience or Associates Degree with 2 or more years' experience in servicing critical power equipment
• Will consider High School Diploma/GED and 10 or more years' experience.
