Position Details:
Title: Injection Molding Supervisor
Location: Oakland, California
Shift or Travel: No travel required
Compensation: $70,000–$95,000/year plus 7.9% base salary bonus

Position Description:
Leads the Technical Operations production team, ensuring all molding, automation, and production assistant team members are trained, motivated, and prepared to meet daily production demands successfully.
• Lead and mentor a team of molding, automation, and production assistant technicians in a fast-paced environment
• Develop and improve injection molding and automation processes using scientific molding/automation practices
• Troubleshoot and maintain production-approved molds and automation equipment
• Create and maintain process setup datasheets, work instructions, protocols, and documentation
• Monitor machine performance and ensure optimal production standards at all times
• Direct production scheduling for all Technical Operations technicians
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment using 5S and lean methodologies
• Perform formal individual and group training sessions on molding and automation
• Support various shifts and occasional weekends as needed
• Recommend and implement production process improvements
• Utilize root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve molded part defects and automation issues
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in injection molding operations, with leadership responsibilities preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; capable of learning SAP and File Maker databases
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to mentor and build team spirit
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical production issues
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Excellent attendance and dependability record; able to work flexible shifts if required
