Position Description
As the Electrical Special Projects Technician, you will be an active member of the installation team focused on the installation of electrical infrastructure as required for customer installation.
Also, completing preventative maintenance as planned by Systems Management.

Responsibilities include:
• Installation of liquid tite, receptacles, installation of colored wire per electrical code, termination of breakers in RPP, testing, sending of code sheets and installation of grounding infrastructure
• Coordination with customers and other departments for the installation of service related electrical installations
• Direct communication with upper management in regards to install schedule and assigned daily tasks
• Direct interface with customers regarding support tickets requests
• Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed with an acceptable level of cleanliness
• Perform quality assurance checks on all work completed
• Maintain appearance and communication for all Customer Service opportunities

Requirements
• Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; be able to express ideas clearly, concisely and effectively with contractors performing maintenance or upgrade work on systems installed in the data center environment
• Utilize good initiative, analytical skills and sound judgement to solve problems and make decisions
• Ability to interface with the operations and construction teams on a daily basis

Position Description:
The Sr. Technician will work with the management team to facilitate operating and maintaining the datacenter. Position Description:
The Critical Systems Technician, Power Distribution (Switchgear III) will serve as a technician for all Company mission-critical electrical services/maintenances under contract. The position will be responsible for monitoring compliance with contractual commitments. This position will provide leadership and knowledge regarding the installation, service, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and operation of mission-critical data center electrical equipment. Requirements:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Two to Five years (Required) Mission Critical Electrical Systems.

As the Facilities and Data Center Technician III, you must possess an expert level of knowledge and will be responsible for the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the facilities and data center electrical, mechanical, fire life safety systems, and communications infrastructure.
You will develop creative approaches to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and implement new strategies. Duties include:
• Mechanical responsibilities will include chilled water systems and components, HVAC systems such as roof top units, CRAC/CRAH units, and humidification systems.
• Electrical responsibilities will include electrical/critical power distribution from the Utility/Generator main switchgear through the UPS systems out to the customer load.
• Fire Life Safety responsibilities will include wet sprinkler systems and pre-action sprinkler systems as well as their associated detection devices.
• Telecommunications responsibilities will include cross connect installations, cabling infrastructure management, advanced remote hands support, and customer cage and cabinet build outs.

Requirements:
• 2 or more years in a mechanical/electrical position within critical facilities (preference given to a data center, hospital, or power plant experience) or similar Military background.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience installing, maintaining, and/or troubleshooting large commercial and industrial systems including: Chilled Water Systems, Large Centrifugal Chillers, Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, Water Treatment Systems, VFD’s and Pumps, HVAC equipment, CRAC/CRAH’s, Humidification Systems, BMS and PLC Controls, Emergency Standby Diesel Generator Systems, Fuel/Oil systems, 480/277 and 208/120 electrical generation and distribution, Static UPS Systems, and Double Interlock Pre-Action Systems
• Be able to pass an extensive background check including criminal history, professional references, and employment and education verification.
• Experience laying out, pulling, dressing, and terminating fiber and copper communications cabling.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing IT hardware, servers, network switches, structured cabling.
