About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play one of the most critical roles —directly shaping customer success. No other position has as much impact on customer relationships, uptime, and trust as this one. You'll be the face of of the company on-site, the problem-solver, and the trusted partner customers rely on to keep operations running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and set up equipment at customer sites.
  • Ensure proper utilization of products.
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems to component-level.
  • Perform upgrades, retrofits, and manage service contracts.
  • Optimize equipment performance for customer operations.
  • Train customers and other service engineers.
  • Take full ownership of customer issues until resolved or an action plan is agreed upon.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
  • Prior technical field service experience with equipment in industries such as Military, Aviation, Medical, or Food/Packaging.
  • Semiconductor equipment experience (especially Track products)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.

Job Description


The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to achieve process yield and productivity goals. This role provides hands-on support to ensure improved machine availability and performance while working in a cleanroom environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
  • Anticipate and diagnose equipment problems to minimize downtime.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Interpret and apply electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operational manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols and safety procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance.


Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical equipment (semiconductor experience a plus).
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical/mechanical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with protective gear.
  • Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills with ability to work independently.
  • Foundational analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods.
