Position Details:
Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Chicago, IL
Shift: Typically, day shift and must be flexible for travel throughout the Dallas region
Compensation: $32 hourly starting annualized wage depending on experience and qualifications plus OT Benefits: Full benefit package which includes Holiday pay, 401K, Medical and Dental, generous vacation (PTO) and room for advancement. Company vehicle provided.
Travel: Must be flexible for travel within the greater Dallas Forth Worth region
Position Description:
Maintains and repairs stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries by performing the following duties. Diagnose the cause of equipment malfunction or failure. Disassembles repairs and reassembles components and units as required. Adjusts and calibrates equipment to operating specifications. Assembles and installs new units as required. Sells Assured Preventive Maintenance Programs, service & repair parts, compounds, and chemicals.

• Receives working instructions, work orders, blueprints, or drawings from supervisor.
• Reviews job requirements and verifies that the required tools, equipment, parts, material, and manuals are part of the service vehicle inventory.
• Diagnoses the cause of equipment malfunction or failure by interviewing customer, using appropriate monitoring and test equipment.
• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles units as required.
• Uncrates and assembles new units according to specifications.
• Trains customer-operating personnel.
• Cleans or directs other workers to clean boilers and auxiliary equipment.
• Inspects and repairs boiler fittings such as safety valves, regulators, automatic control mechanisms, and
water columns, and auxiliary machines such as pumps, draft fans, stokers, and burners. y
• Replaces damaged boiler tubes and plates.
• Repairs or replaces high-pressure piping. Patches boiler insulation, Paints surface of equipment. Performs water pressure test by pumping water into system to determine location of leaks.

Requirements:
• Must have no traffic violations that prohibit the use of a motor vehicle and be eligible for automobile insurance coverage
• Six (6) years’ experience in related field or three (3) years related experience with technical school background or two (2) years company product mechanical experience.

• Title: Chassis Mechanic (Mobile)
• Location: Phoenix, AZ, Indianapolis, IN, Indian Head Park, IL
• Shift: M-F 7am - 4:30pm
• Compensation: $26-$32/hour + OT + 7.5% bonus potential EVERY quarter + $5k Sign on bonus (½ on 1st check, ½ at 6 months)

Position Description: The Chassis Mechanic will perform mechanical repairs and inspections in both a depot/repair facility environment as well as roadside environment. The employee will perform all types of chassis repairs including brakes and wheel end repairs, welding (experience preferred but not required), cutting with a torch and repairing and replacing parts on the chassis using standard repair tools. Repairs will be performed to FMCSA standards.

• Troubleshoot and repair all chassis defects
• Repair lights, tires, flaps, safety latches, troubleshoot ABS and more
• Including ABS systems; air brake systems, wheels end, and structural assemblies
• Use of mobile app to log work orders and document repairs
• Use of a Mobile truck to drive to locations and complete repairs to company chassis.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel or Chassis Mechanic.
• FMCSA and brake certification required.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and criteria.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently and without direct supervision.
• Must be willing to work outside and capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check and Federal check.

Position Description:
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for performing warranty repairs, and the commissioning of company utility inverters in the field. Duties include commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, learning to analyze data, operation and maintenance activity and utility inverter applications. This job requires continually working with high voltage electricity and maintaining excellent customer service activities while in the field at customer sites.
Responsibilities:
• Commissions, troubleshoots, repairs, and analyzes company’s utility inverters in the field, via email,
telephone, and site visits.
• Develops a detailed knowledge of company’s utility inverter products, associated company accessories, and third - party accessories that are sold by company for use with the inverters.
• Required to maintain accurate inventory count of spare parts provided by company
• Regularly works with high voltage DC electricity, three phase power, and the relevant software and y
firmware of the inverters.
• Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction while striving to lower the costs of field service.
• Perform and maintains maintenance activities in accordance with the company product maintenance manual on assigned sites with company customer contractual obligations.
• Requires the ability to work weekend and/or nights on a case-by-case basis.
• Other duties may be required or assigned.

Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical, electronic and/or network communications are required.
• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field is strongly preferred
• Ability to work nonstandard business hours occasionally to support service customer contracts. Knowledge of solar and/or alternative energy markets is preferred.

Position Description:

Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation. Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs. Identifies new sales opportunities and communicates them internally.
Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities.
Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions. Troubleshoots equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
Proactively identifies suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicates them further in the organization. Provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.
Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent military experience or Associates Degree with 2 or more years’ experience in servicing critical power equipment
Will consider High School Diploma/GED and 10 or more years’ experience.
Advanced level ability to interact and communicate (written and verbal) information to varying levels within the organization.
Advanced level of ability to use Microsoft Office products.
Moderate ability to self-Project Manage using MS Project or Excel.
Advanced ability to write test plans and reports detailing test results.
