Position Details:
Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Atlanta, GA (1-1.5 hours from airport)
Shift: Mon-Fri. Revolving on call weekends (On Call schedules put out for each calendar year so will know when on call) + Guaranteed 40/ hrs a week. If on call, paid for 8 hours even if not called out.
Compensation: $28-$30/hr + $620 month vehicle stipened – Gas and vehicle services covered by company; personal and business use + $150 extra a day when on call

Travel: 85%. Travel is M-F unless scheduled for on call. Average 3-4 days traveling.

Position Description:
Responsible and accountable to travel to customer sites to install, service and repair food
processing machinery. use deep technical knowledge to assist with and provide guidance in the
testing of company technologies and to provide assistance on troubleshooting issues for
complex customer installations. The position is also responsible to generate and distribute
technical reports regarding testing results.

Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A well-rounded Mechanical and Electrical Background; Stronger electrical
• Knowledge/ experience with pneumatic, hydraulic power systems or control systems are a plus.

Position Description: Responsibilities include:
• Provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation of proton therapy equipment and ancillary devices, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Check out and approve operational quality of system equipment and instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
• Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative/technical matters for assigned projects.
• Interpret customers’ needs and clarify where responsibility for problem resolution falls.
• May include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking. Installs and upgrades a wide range of complex and advanced company products according to technical documentation and company guidelines to ensure that customer’s equipment operates efficiently.
• Demonstrate to customer equipment operation and specification according to Customer Acceptance Procedure (CAP). Instruct customers in operation/basic maintenance of company products.
• May coordinate and review the activities of a small group of Installation Representatives.

Requirements:
• Intermediate level of knowledge in the proper use of the following:
Mechanical: Torque Wrenches; Precision Gauges & Levels; Vernier Scales, Calipers and Micrometers; Drills, Saws, Taps and Dies; Lubrication and Adhesives
Electrical: Digital Multi-Meter, Oscilloscopes, Circuit/Component tooling; Soldering
• Desired Military Experience in the following: Nuclear power plant, Airframe & power plant, Avionics, Ground support equipment maintenance, Medical devices, Electrical maintenance
• Experience in the semiconductor field service/maintenance: Ion Implant, CVD, Etch, PVD, Photolithography

Position Description: perform operations, startups, preventative & corrective maintenance on commercial generators, low to medium voltage switchgear, and battery storage equipment at customer locations in your region. Duties will include:
• Repair and service all makes and models of Generator Sets.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines such as Volvo, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere and MTU.
• Troubleshoot, repair and program switchgear.
• Inspect, repair, service and start-up load bank test requirements on equipment.

• Four or more years of commercial/industrial experience working on generators, engines, switchgear and controllers. Volvo engine experience a plus.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Outlook email/calendars
• OEM Training, certification and/or EGSA certification preferred

Physical Demands
Tasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work.

Position Description:
The company Field Service Technician is responsible for service, installation, and repair of automated pump stations, pump controls, piping, valves, and related equipment, within his assigned operating area. He is expected to identify opportunities for both new equipment and service sales, and work with both his Regional Field Service Manager and the Inside Sales Manager, as required, to secure orders for the company. As a representative of the company in direct contact with end-user customers, the Field Service Technician is expected to conduct himself in a highly professional manner at all times.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on automated pump systems.
• Use a multimeter, process meter, megger, vibration meter, laser alignment tool, and other instruments to diagnose pump motors and controls issues.
• Instruct customers on proper procedures for operating and maintaining equipment.
• Install pump stations, pumps, and motors using cranes and other heavy equipment.
• Set up and maintain telemetry networks utilizing radios, cellular modems, DSL lines, etc.
• Perform pump station preventive maintenance.
• Promote sales of company products and services to solve customer problems.

Requirements:
The ideal fit for this role is a military veteran technician with an electronics or electrical background/electro-mechanical, rotating equipment experience. Must be able to work independently and be able to adapt well to a constantly changing schedule.
• Excellent communication skills, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn to read and interpret wiring schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical literature.
