Primary Function:

The project executive is not to become the defacto PM for every project. Each PM will be responsible for all the typical duties related to their projects, communication with the customer, responsibilities outlined in the Project Managers Manual and financial accountability.

• Demonstrates an understanding of the Work Order system and the drivers that impact inaccuracies (condition coding), develops a strategy to ensure variances are <10% by ensuring work orders for idle fleet are accurate. Ensures all idle fleet work orders are less than 9 months old. Issues and tracks vendor purchase orders.
• Orders, receives and distributes materials/VAPS to work teams/vendors on a timely basis to support unit completion requirements. Conducts monthly major parts and VAPS in addition to semi-annual minor parts inventory counts.
• Focuses on driving first-time quality and reducing < 60-day service calls, communicates with shop personnel to eliminate, conducts root cause analysis and creates permanent corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for formatting, updating, and distribution of CPM Project Schedules, and to assist the Operations Department CPM Scheduling Logic and Monthly Updating. This position will work out of the Pittsburgh, PA location.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Construction Management, or relevant experience in lieu of education.
• Computer skills…proficient in MS office, required. Timberline and estimating software, preferred.
• Ability to think creatively when approaching problem resolution, but ultimately decisive & able to execute solutions quickly.
• Results Oriented to ensure delivery of services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion

Responsibilities:

• Assist Preconstruction/Estimating Department with initial schedule formatting and production for responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs).
• Identify and monitor both short and long-term milestones within a project schedule.
• Lead monthly meetings with project teams to update and revise project schedules.
• Create custom reports which assess a project actual performance vs the baseline schedule.
• Production and Distribution of Look-a-Head Schedule for use in Project Weekly Planning
• Work with project teams to create detailed resource and cost loaded CPM schedules as needed.
