Position Description:

As the CSE, you will be in a field-based, customer-facing role that installs, services, maintains and modifies company equipment at customer sites. The CSE interfaces directly with the Customer Care Manager, Technical Manager, Clinical Application Specialist, Product Managers, Company Sales Representatives, and customers. The Service Engineer integrates the technical capabilities and available resources, with effective territory and business management skills to develop and maintain superior service levels.   • Possess total familiarity with mechanical, electronic, optical, and operational aspects of designated products as evidenced by the ability to effectively install and repair/service designated instruments.

The On Call rotation is for complete coverage of the state of Maine. It is also important to note that there are not very many Maine hospitals that have 24/7 coverage contracts with company. Removal and installation of hull treatment and non-metallic coatings on United States Navy nuclear-powered submarines. Position requires a willingness to learn, dependability, and the ability to think critically.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.

Ability to perform carpentry-type duties to include use of manual tools, power tools, and building of containments.

Read and interpret documents as necessary, such as operating and maintenance manuals, safety rules and regulations, procedure manuals, etc.

May prepare molds and templates for fabrication of hull treatment.

Description

Travel to customer sites throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair CNC fabricating machine tools. Provide high-quality technical service to ensure optimal machine performance and support customer productivity.
Document machine conditions and technical findings, and provide recommendations for improvements. Train customers on machine operation and basic service to maximize efficiency. Serve as a service representative while working directly with customers during installations and repairs.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
• Hands-on experience with electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanical systems, and hydraulics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
• Technologically proficient with experience in software and file management
• Ability to work independently in a field service environment

Requirements
