Description
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Associate's Degree, Technical Certificate/Degree, or equivalent technical experience.
- 3-5 years of laser, photonics, or sophisticated capital equipment field service experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and customer support experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Supervise and lead a team of laser repair technicians.
- Monitor repair center performance metrics and implement process improvements.
- Manage daily repair center operations, including diagnostics, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex laser system failures.
- Ensure repaired products meet company quality standards.
- Serve as the technical expert for assigned laser products.
- Provide customer communications, repair updates, and escalation support.
- Coordinate warranty claims, product replacements, and service contract activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and repair knowledge databases.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
- Partner with engineering, quality, and product development teams to improve product reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance repair efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Occasionally travel domestically as required.
