Description: Building Engineer

• The primary focus of the Building Engineer is to provide
  repair and maintenance services for their assigned location. A 'hands-on'
  'tool-carrying' building engineer with previous verifiable experience to
  perform operational supervision of the chiller, boilers, and all central plant
  machinery as well as maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC,
  laundry equipment, and kitchen appliances. The successful candidate coordinates
  with outside contractors and works with management to order supplies and tools.
  Professional presence as well as punctuality and reliable attendance are
  essential.

Key
Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, and
  Emergency Support maintenance of customer's facilities to include:
• HVAC
• Plumbing
• Motors
• Engines
• Controls
• Electrical
• Publish critical reporting to customers and management
  including Monthly Performance, Results Reports, Correction Action Reports
• Actively interface with customers at all levels
• Ensures customer satisfaction through oral and written
  communication

Requirements:

• Looking for Candidates with a strong technical background
  with experience troubleshooting HVAC equipment, engines, motors, and controls.
  Candidates must be mechanically inclined and have strong
  troubleshooting/problem-solving skills. Candidates should be able to
  communicate clearly both written and verbally and have strong customer service
  skills. Candidates will be self-starters and will be comfortable working by
  themselves and holding themselves accountable. Excellent communication and
  customer service skills are of utmost importance.

Description

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in boiler
  service or related industrial maintenance, demonstrating a solid track record
  of reliability and technical expertise.
• Possession of a high school diploma or GED, reflecting your
  foundational education and commitment to professional growth.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record,
  highlighting your responsibility and ability to safely operate company vehicles
  when required.
• Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing
  mechanical, electrical, and control systems associated with industrial boilers.
• Experienced in performing routine preventive maintenance and
  ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations in boiler
  operations.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

• Tests, regenerates, inspects, adjusts, changes filters,
  repairs/replaces water softeners, distilled water, and laboratory water systems
  down stream of approved backflow preventers
• Aligns and replaces hot water heating, chilled water, and
  condenser water pumps
• Inspects/services/performs daily operation to water heating
  & low-pressure steam systems
• Repairs/replaces hot water heating, low pressure steam
  systems and steam/chiller components
• Shuts down, starts up, repairs, replaces, and installs
  irrigation systems
• Daily operation of chilled water generating equipment and
  repair (non-refrigerant side)
• Inspects, tests, cleans, repairs, and maintains daily
  operation of cooling towers
• Repairs and replaces components of air handlers and dampers;
  inspects and cleans coils
• Repairs and replaces variable blade axial fans &
  generator engines
• Notifies supervisor of equipment & supplies needs and
  facilities repair or upkeep needs
• Shocks water heaters
• Resets and programs building master clocks and lighting
  panels
• Flushes and winterizes heating and cooling coils
• Tests, cleans, lubricates, monitors, and inspects fire pumps
  and associated equipment

• Technical training in mechanical maintenance
  with at least 3 years of applicable work experience.  Ability to follow written and oral
  instructions. Ability to meet the physical requirements of this position.
  Ability to interact with fellow employees, management, customers, and the
  public in a courteous, cooperative, and professional manner.  Maintain a positive public image, positive
  attitude and demeanor when performing a service for customers and the public at
  the company.  Safely perform duties
  following established company safe operating procedures and practices.
