Position Details:
Title: Diesel Service Technician
Locations: Various Peterbilt-affiliated dealership and service center locations throughout Ohio, including Cleveland, Columbus (Grove City - 2 openings), Youngstown (2 openings) Canton (2 openings), Toledo (Perrysburg)
Shifts: Monday – Friday various shifts by location; otherwise as needed/required for emergency service.
Cleveland M-F 12:30-9pm; Columbus (Grove City) M-F normal day shift and 3:30pm-12:30am available; Youngstown M-F normal day shift hours, Canton M-F normal day shift hours, Toledo (Perrysburg) normal day shift hours.
Compensation: $25-$32/hr. starting base rate based on skills and experience + O/T + monthly incentives + cumulative pay raises and incentives for progression through professional development skill grades & certifications. 1st Year W2 $60K-$75K+, then on up from there to $100K+!

Travel: None. Some work in the field for mobile service technicians in/around the service center location.

• Apprenticeship roles available at $21-$26/hr.

Position Description:
Service Technicians are responsible for diagnosing issues and performing standard general repairs on drive-train components, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on company and/or customers’ heavy equipment across shop and field settings while adhering to all safety regulations and contributing to a positive work environment.

Requirements:
- General knowledge, ability to diagnose, and capable of repairing of complex hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interrupt technical information from general hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Technical school graduate or experience with Volvo construction equipment preferred
- Must possess and maintain acceptable safe driving record and pass DOT Medical Certification

Position Description:
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for redeeming service gross profit objectives, managing operations organization, and maintaining a customer base. You will work with the customer and maintain Company’s HVAC and electrical systems as contractually obligated. In addition, you will work with a crew and subs to manage a book of business as well as manage work profitably and maintain required paperwork including weekly reporting. This position will include designing, estimating, and proposing new service projects and upgrading of existing agreements. Redeem planned gross profit through management of subordinate organization Delegate and organize work of others by job description and procedures; help subordinates to agree on objectives. Effectively audit and document the performance of subordinates and follow-up. Provide job site visits to inspect equipment and equipment rooms to ensure quality performance. Instruct, direct, and monitor subordinates in providing materials, directions, tools, and logistical support to the field to maximize output/man-hour. As Service Manager you will be expected to motivate and train subordinates. Develop and implement programs to improve the skills of individuals and subordinates as a group. Ensure technical capabilities for field force are consistent. You will also be responsible for forecasting workforce, manpower, organizational changes, and vehicle requirements.


Requirements:
• At least 3-5 years of HVAC experience as a Service Manager, or Operations Manager.
• 2-3 years in commercial, educational, governmental, or industrial facilities is preferred.
