Position Summary:
The Technician/Machine Builder is responsible for precision assembly, alignment, configuration, debugging, and testing of custom laser processing workstations and subsystems. This hands-on role requires strong problem-solving skills, blueprint and schematic reading, and a commitment to production, quality, and safety goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble, align, commission, and test laser systems and components using precision tools and equipment.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Solder, wire, calibrate, and repair electromechanical assemblies.
• Configure Windows-based system setups; perform final checkout and inspections.
• Maintain and improve documentation, work instructions, and testing procedures.
• Plan assembly sequences and collaborate with supervisors and project managers to resolve challenges.
• Support a clean, safe work environment and follow safety policies.
• Advise Purchasing on materials as needed.
• Suggest process improvements for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Technical school graduate or equivalent experience.
• Skilled with precision measurement tools, gauges, and assembly hand/power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; neat, accurate, detail-oriented work.
• Ability to work independently and own assignments.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Knows when to escalate issues through proper channels.

Position Summary:
Join a leading ETO automation systems manufacturer as a Senior Industrial Engineer driving quality, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is key to enhancing processes, implementing lean practices, and strengthening the company’s culture of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead lean and continuous improvement projects to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost gains.
  • Champion quality systems, manage issue tracking, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Develop and maintain training programs, competency tracking, and clear process documentation.
  • Gather, analyze, and present operational data; build dashboards and KPIs to guide improvements.
  • Support ERP optimization for material flow, BOMs, routing, and work order management.
  • Analyze and optimize ETO manufacturing processes, workstation layouts, and capacity planning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to align manufacturability and process efficiency.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years in ETO or complex, low-volume manufacturing.
  • Proven experience with quality systems, RCA tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D), and CAPA.
  • Strong background in process mapping, SOP development, and standard work setup.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or MS Navision/Business Central).
  • Demonstrated success building a lean and continuous improvement culture.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong communicator and facilitator able to influence without direct authority.
  • Hands-on experience applying lean, visual management, and CI principles.
  • Confident data analyst with skills in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Collaborative, solutions-focused, and thrives in fast-paced ETO environments.
