Job Description

Position: Instrumentation Technician I – As an Instrumentation Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, adjusting, calibrating, troubleshooting instrumentation/electronic equipment and tuning various control loops, repairing valves, actuators and pneumatic positioners, installing conduit and tubing. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving issues involving instrumentation/electrical equipment. Additional duties will include:

• Reviewing control room log for issues, maintaining storage tanks and reagents, making changes to process variables, diagnosis, and review trending data.
• Assist with commissioning, i.e., wiring, functionality, proper termination, simulation and testing on instrumentation and control systems.
• Troubleshoots issues with instrumentation/electronics.
• Provide technical expertise in support of capital projects, process evaluation, and equipment modification.
• Develop and plan instrumentation/electrical maintenance work including parts specification for controls projects, routine preventative maintenance, instrument/electrical systems, and operational improvements.

Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has 5-10 years of strong instrumentation/electrical experience, preferably in an industrial setting. Additionally, you will have at least 2-years of experience as an I&E Tech II. You have a strong knowledge of all instruments associated with process control. You have a basic understanding of AC and DC control circuits, are familiar with PLC/DCS control systems, and have the ability to read schematics, loop diagrams, P&ID’s, etc. Additional experience will include:

• Experience with installing, troubleshooting, and/or repairing conduit wire, controls and motors.

Position: Mine Mechanic – As a Mine Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting all underground mining equipment. This equipment will include hydraulics, ore haulage belts, raises, ore load-out equipment, and diesel transportation units. You will perform regular preventive maintenance on mining equipment (i.e., grease, change oil, look for defects during the service, torque drain plugs). Additional duties will include:
• Prepare work orders and obtain correct parts from warehouse.
