Position Description: Project Installation Coordinator

Coordinate with Sales Administration to ensure that all relevant information is received from the Sales Division. Confirm that all proper documentation is sent to technicians.
3. Ensure readiness of the customer to receive equipment (e.g. space is prepared, utilities are set up, etc.) before dispatching technician to job site. Emphasize and evaluate customer’s technical readiness for installation of equipment and require written confirmation.
4. Collaborate with customer, 3rd party equipment suppliers
5. Coordinate with international freight coordinator in regards to machine shipments from factory to ensure installation is scheduled accordingly with the customer
6. Ensure machine completion either from factory in Germany or U.S. to facilitate conveying accurate timeframes to the customer and service organization
7. Provide formal cost estimate to external and internal customers for premium installations

Qualifications:

Assist customers with return merchandise/spare parts. A Return Order Number will be assigned at the time of call and all relative information will be entered into SAP. • Develops and maintains positive employee relations by interpreting and consistently applying company policies and practices and recognizing, understanding, and valuing employee differences.
• Identifies potential/current work issues and resolves them in an appropriate and timely manner and suggests methods to improve employee commitment and motivation.
• Communicates company policies and ensures compliance with work rules and safety requirements.
• Participates in employee selection activities and trains new and existing employees on production, department, and company policy/practice-related topics.
• Supervises all aspects of the production process in a manner that minimizes inventory and overtime, optimizes productivity and controls operating expenses.
• Analyzes documents and reports to ensure production and schedules are aligned with production goals.
• Identifies and recommends production improvement strategies that enhance equipment and worker performance, efficiency, and product quality.
• Monitors equipment and schedules repairs that aligns with production schedules and demands.
• Inspects products to ensure specifications and assists with machine set-up and adjustments.

Position Details:
Location: Shelbyville, KY (Louisville)
Shift: Night shift 6:30pm – 7am on a 2-on, 2-off, 3-on, 2-off, 2-on, 3-off bi-weekly schedule. Essentially you will work 48 hours one week and 36 hours the other week on a rotating basis.
Leadership: Approximately 25-30 direct reports.
Pay: $75K-$85K base salary + up to 5% performance/profitability bonus + relocation.

Requirements: Candidates must have 3+ years of direct supervisory experience. This position is about leadership – coaching, developing, motivating, and communicating expectations, and accountability to expectations and results. Candidates must also have good computer skills with Microsoft Suite and some familiarity with SAP type systems. These positions are ideal for top-notch leaders that possess a great mix of both operational leadership and exceptional performance. The best candidates will have a history of leadership/supervision experience and success that stand out among peers in mission accomplishment and results, including the ability to maintain/sustain high positive employee relations, manage multiple priories against tight deadlines, apply procedures and policies, and effectively address/successfully handle all employee-related issues.
