Position: Senior Project Engineer Location: REMOTE
Headquarters: Avon, MN (FULL REMOTE POSITION)
Salary/Benefits: $110-150k base salary (depending on experience) + 15% Annual Performance

Location: Fully remote – with approximately 20% travel to local sites to engage with owners and various cross-functional teams.
Position Summary: Manages project engineering firms, junior engineering staff, serves as a proponent for project-level needs, performs calculations, reviews and issues plans and specifications to ensure the company achieves its strategic objectives. Provides training and mentorship for project and technical personnel.
Position Responsibilities:
Establishes safe engineering designs that compliment company, state, and federal safety regulations.
Perpetuates designs that satisfy the design life of the power plant by establishing compliance with local, state, and international building codes and company best practices
Manages designs that provide the most economical means to satisfy the design life of the power plant. Collaborates across company departments, with outside vendors, suppliers, and technical firms to explore innovative ideas, methods, materials, equipment, software, and technologies that save cost, increase efficiencies, promote safety, and provide strategic benefits
Solves problems by applying factual evidence and sustainable solutions that are safe, transparent, and documentable.
Operates at multiple levels of technical and non-technical fields. Engages in technical fields of structural steel, structural wood, crane rigging, structural reinforced concrete, foundations, soil and atmospheric corrosion, hydrology, geotechnical, surveying, grading, laser scanning, and GPR studies.
Provides project feedback to estimating teams to capture lessons learned.
Mentors and leads junior engineering staff.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering or Equivalent level
Ability to influence and collaborate.
Four or more years of progressive engineering and engineering supervisory experience, in a related industry (i.e., heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation, Military)
