Reporting to the Vice President, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of critical mechanical and process piping construction projects. Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of 3-4 Project Managers, you will have strategic and tactical responsibility for roughly $20M-$60M in projects annually. This role requires the flexibility to pivot from high-level client strategy to granular technical problem-solving in the fast-paced world of high-purity mechanical systems and process piping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Mentorship: Directly lead and coach a team of 3-4 PMs. You are responsible for their professional growth, the quality of their deliverables, and the overall success of their project portfolios.
• Strategic Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of complex mechanical projects (budgeting, scheduling, and execution) predominantly within the electronics manufacturing space. This includes: Preparation of project proposals and estimates; Direction of resources and personnel projects; Contract administration and documentation; Buyout of subcontractors, equipment, and materials; Labor productivity tracking; Schedule development; Project budget tracking and cost projections; Customer relations and business development; Project safety culture leadership.

What You'll Do

Lead daily electrical assembly, panel shop operations, functional testing, and fan balancing activities for custom-engineered HVAC equipment.

• Assign work, balance labor, and coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and accountability while developing the skills of electrical assemblers and technicians.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and panel layouts to ensure accurate assembly and installation.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, control circuits, motors, sensors, relays, actuators, and panel wiring to resolve production and testing issues.
• Support equipment startup, functional testing, and system validation while driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve technical issues, improve production flow, and reduce rework.
• Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing electrical safety practices, maintaining organized work areas, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

(Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education)

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Previous leadership experience as a Leadman, Team Lead, Senior Technician, Production Lead, or Supervisor.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with electrical assembly, panel building, electrical troubleshooting, startup, testing, and system validation.
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements and industrial electrical standards.
• Proven ability to assign work, coordinate production flow, troubleshoot electrical issues, and drive root cause resolution.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills with the ability to develop team members while maintaining production goals.
• Experience with engineered-to-order manufacturing, industrial controls, HVAC equipment, PLC troubleshooting, or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
