Position Description | Turbine Operator
As a Turbine Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the company’s electrical turbines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the energy systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing maintenance procedures to maximize turbine efficiency. This position may require travel to customer locations to ensure successful operation of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Efficiently operate electrical turbines, ensuring they run within specified parameters.
• Monitor turbine performance through control systems, gauges, and other instrumentation to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform routine inspections of electrical and mechanical components to detect signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.
• Identify and address any issues or irregularities in the turbine’s operation.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbines, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults and malfunctions, utilizing diagnostic tools and following safety protocols.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, standards, and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Implement safety procedures and conduct emergency response drills as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of turbine performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents or anomalies.
• Prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting operational issues and recommending improvements.
• React promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including turbine shutdowns, system failures, or safety incidents.
• Perform emergency repairs and restore turbine functionality as quickly as possible.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment used for turbine operation and maintenance are well-maintained and in good working condition.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or needs for replacement to management.







Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a military veteran with 2+ years of heavy-duty jet engine experience or gas turbine controls/instrumentation/electrical experience. You must also possess a clean driving record and be able to pass background and drug screening.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform gas flow and meter calculations.
• Test, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of meters (positive displacement, rotary, Coriolis, turbine, orifice, ultrasonic).
• Maintain and troubleshoot pressure regulators, control valves, relief valves, and other pressure limiting devices.
