The Maintenance Technician will work as part of a 4-person maintenance team. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the same team. Responsibilities include:
The Maintenance Technician will work as part of a 4-person maintenance team. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the same team. Responsibilities include:
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, extruders, and auxiliary equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnosing and repairing equipment failures quickly to minimize downtime
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory
- Assisting in equipment installations and upgrades
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies
Requirements
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in plastics or manufacturing
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and move heavier objects with proper equipment
- Capable of operating hoist/lifting equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to emergency calls
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
