Position: Field Service Engineer
Location: Remote (100% travel, Mon–Fri, including US & Canada)
Shift: Normal day shift
Compensation: First-year total comp $80K–$100K ($67.6K base + uncapped commission on parts/services; typical commission ~$20K, can reach $35K–$40K)

Position Summary:
After a 2+ month training period (including training in France), you’ll provide nationwide field service support for company lifts. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting electro-mechanical mobile column lifts at customer sites, performing annual inspections and certifications, and delivering technical diagnostics by phone. You’ll coordinate your own travel, complete job paperwork and expense reports, and maintain regular communication with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair lifts (mechanical & electrical up to 3-phase, 480 VAC)
- Perform annual inspections and issue certifications
- Provide phone diagnostics and remote support
- Complete all required reports and documentation
- Schedule and book travel arrangements
- Maintain professional communication and customer relations
Requirements:
- Strong electro-mechanical maintenance & troubleshooting skills; PLC/control experience
- Experience with lifts/hoists preferred
- Valid US driver’s license, passport, and ability to travel by air and rent cars
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and related tools
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Sales experience in parts/service a plus
