Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Zanesville, OH
Shift: 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm), 3rd shift (11pm-7am) opportunities available! 12/2 – Work M-F every week, work Sat/Sun every other weekend
Travel: none
Compensation: $28.14/hr. starting pay rate with opportunities to increase!

Position Description: As a Maintenance Technician (Electrician) you will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems, which will include facilities, unloading, processing, packing, and warehouse operations. You will troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment. Working safely at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant. Your maintenance work will include both predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Maintenance of plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation.
• Experience working with 480 industrial voltage.
• Install and program Variable Frequency Drives.
• Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain switch gears, control wiring and components, overcurrent, and overload protection for plant motors including three-phase systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems including motors and PLCs.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater systems, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs.
• Complete predictive maintenance while utilizing thermal imaging and ultrasonic analysis.

Requirements:
The company is looking for an electro-mechanical Maintenance Technician with 480v electrical experience to join their growing team in Zanesville, OH. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a 2-year technical degree completed. Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation, and mechanical and electrical equipment is a must.
