Position Overview:
The company, a leader in the wood processing equipment industry, seeks a Regional Service Manager to oversee a team of 20+ field technicians. This pivotal leadership role ensures the seamless delivery of installation, maintenance, and repair services for CNC routers, panel saws, edge benders, and spray finish systems. The position combines operational management, team development, and strategic alignment to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of 20+ field technicians across multiple product lines.
• Supervise install and scheduling coordinators, along with administrative support staff.
• Oversee and ensure timely delivery of preventative maintenance and repair services.
• Collaborate with District Team Leaders managing 3–4 technicians each for major brands.
• Report directly to the National Service Manager, aligning regional goals with company objectives.
• Identify staffing needs, conduct performance reviews, and implement coaching/development plans.
• Coordinate with national sales and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Leverage Salesforce and advanced Excel tools to drive data-informed decisions and monitor performance metrics.

Qualifications:
• Civilian industry experience required; prior military leadership experience strongly considered.
• Demonstrated success in managing technical or service teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machinery preferred (experience in wood, metal, or food packaging industries is a plus).
• Proficiency in Salesforce (preferred) and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Adept at managing KPIs and optimizing field service team performance.
• Ability to travel occasionally for training or corporate meetings (e.g., Grand Rapids HQ).
