Position Details:

  • Schedule: Four-day work week; Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM

Position Summary:

  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble hydraulic systems and components
  • Ensure work is completed to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Troubleshoot, test, and verify proper function of hydraulic components


Key Responsibilities:

  • Tear down and inspect hydraulic rod cylinders
  • Measure dimensions and determine necessary repairs
  • Gather parts and assemble/test cylinders
  • Operate Microfinishing machine
  • Remove/install hydraulic components from vehicles
  • Perform consistent, precise measurements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
  • Accurately document time, repairs, and parts used in the system
  • Support other hydraulic shop areas as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Skills & Abilities:

  • Safely operate service vehicles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with computer use
  • Ability to perform physical tasks: standing, lifting, pushing, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tight areas


Experience & Knowledge:

  • 2–3 years of hydraulic component repair and maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude


Physical Requirements:

  • Lift/carry/push/pull up to 20 lbs continuously; up to 75 lbs frequently
  • Work in dusty, misty, and odorous environments
  • Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Occasionally climb or balance
  • Continuous standing and walking in a shop setting


Additional Requirements:

  • Flexible availability, including nights and weekends as needed
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment testing
  • Must be able to read and speak English
