Position Details:

• Title: Industrial Mechanic
• Location: Fort Worth, TX
• Shift: 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:45pm Mon - Fri
• Compensation: $23 – $25/hour plus overtime
• Benefits: Competitive, based on experience

Requirements:

• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines
• Follow manuals, diagrams, and engineering specifications for maintenance and repair tasks
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including gearboxes and electrical controls
• Fabricate or modify repair parts using machine shop instruments and equipment when necessary
• Provide recommendations to improve mechanical maintenance reliability and equipment uptime
• Ensure a safe work environment by following PPE protocols and lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Operate a forklift (forklift certification required)
• Perform basic facility repairs, including plumbing, lighting, and HVAC
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager, engineering, and production teams to coordinate maintenance and repair activities

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Associate's degree or equivalent technical training preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with department programs, scanning systems, and touchscreens.
• Mathematical proficiency with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong reasoning skills to apply mechanical knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns.
