Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Safety Professional to join a rapidly growing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) consulting and training firm. This role is ideal for an individual with hands-on experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems who wants to pivot into a field-based consulting and compliance role focused on electrical safety.
This is not a labor-intensive installation position. Instead, the focus is on assessing existing electrical infrastructure, developing safety programs, and helping clients maintain compliance with OSHA 1910 Subpart S and NFPA 70E. Responsibilities include on-site field assessments, creating electrical one-line diagrams, and providing support for safety program development and training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect electrical equipment data in the field (e.g., motor control centers, switchboards, panelboards)
  • Create accurate hand-drawn as-built one-line electrical diagrams
  • Assess general electrical safety and arc flash hazards
  • Support lockout/tagout (LOTO) program development and compliance audits
  • Help implement and train on NFPA 70E and OSHA 1910 Subpart S requirements
  • Travel to customer sites across the U.S. for site assessments and support

Required Qualifications:
  • 2–5 years of hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience (commercial/industrial)
  • Strong understanding of conductors, fuses, and circuit breakers
  • Proficiency in reading and creating electrical one-line diagrams
  • Familiarity with standard electrical symbols and diagram conventions
  • Knowledge of arc flash PPE and shock protection standards
