Title: Maintenance Technician – Mechanical
Location: Albany, NY (Delmar/Feura Bush)
Travel: None
Shift: Starts Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm; transitions to 3-on, 3-off 12-hour rotating day/night schedule
Compensation: $38.05/hr training rate; $39.21/hr certified rate (typically within 6 months) + OT after 40 hours/week (with built-in OT) + annual raises. Expected first-year earnings $85K–$100K+

Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment and plant systems to ensure safe, smooth, and reliable operations. You’ll handle a mix of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and support projects that drive plant growth, efficiency, and safety.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment and plant systems to ensure safe, smooth, and reliable operations. You’ll handle a mix of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and support projects that drive plant growth, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical production equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and keep systems running smoothly
- Support plant expansion, upgrades, and safety projects
- Collaborate with outside contractors for equipment installation and service
- Assist operators to minimize downtime and ensure efficient changeovers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong multi-craft background — mechanical and basic electrical/electronic troubleshooting
- Ability to maintain conveyors, motors, belts, chains, sprockets, bearings, gearboxes, drives, sensors, I/O controls, and some robotics
- Proficient reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to share knowledge with others
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to safe, detailed work
- Must pass background check and full-panel drug test prior to employment
