Position Details:
Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Baltimore, MD
Shift: Mon-Fri, flexible to meet business needs – 40hr work weeks with OT opportunities
Compensation: $85-100K a year depending on qualifications and experience!

Travel: This is a field service position, ~80%. The position covers Northern Maryland to Washington D.C. and surrounding areas, requiring travel to healthcare facilities.

Position Description: The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. This role involves coordinating installations, performing preventive maintenance, and providing technical training for medical staff. The FSE ensures equipment functionality and compliance with safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair imaging equipment using established testing methods.
• Coordinate installations and maintenance with internal teams and customers.
• Conduct customer training on equipment operation and safety.
• Maintain accurate service records, including inspections, repairs, and certifications.
• Utilize service software to track tasks and complete documentation.
• Communicate effectively with support, management, and sales teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and ensure a rapid response to critical issues.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and maintain required certifications.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience servicing diagnostic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with mechanical, electronic, and imaging systems.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment and software applications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication, and customer service skills.
• Compliance with facility requirements, including drug testing and immunizations.
