Description

Orion Talent, the nation’s largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for an Associate position with an independent wealth management firm providing comprehensive investment and family office services.

Position Details
Location: Wayland, MA (20 minutes from Boston)
Compensation: $80K - $100K depending on experience
Shift: Monday - Friday 9-5
Travel: None – in office position
Benefits: 401K, medical

Position Description
As an Associate, your role will require you to build upon your current skill set and will provide unparalleled immersion into all aspects of the wealth management industry. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to assist in all operations of a financial advisory firm. This role will enable you to build a foundation of knowledge and develop skills needed to achieve client service excellence and fuel success as a financial professional. Responsibilities will include:
• Partner with Director to accomplish a common goal of providing an exceptional experience for our clients.
• Provide service and support functions such as firm analysis, account opening/maintenance, client service and client/prospect meeting preparation.
• Money Movement (wires, etc.).
• Perform administrative and operational tasks within functional areas.
• Respond to inquiries and requests for researching reports and account related items.
• Assist Chief Compliance Officer in the organization of databases.
• Create, produce, and maintain reports, databases, and record keeping for the purpose of growing client relationships and compliance.
• Identify ways to improve processes and offer group ideas.
• Receive direction from managers in functional areas and escalate non-routine questions.

Position Requirements
• Military Experience in leading teams and operation experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with excellence in academics.
• Must have the highest ethical and professional standards.
• Accomplished team player who seeks a rigorous and challenging environment for their career development.
• Client-focused and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal) and an ability to build internal and external relationships.
• Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.
• A genuine interest in wealth management and client service.
