Position Details
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $22-$28/hr, OT
Shift: 1st shift M-F
Travel: Daily travel to job sites, generally in the state of Indiana

Position Description
As an HVAC Controls Technician, your primary responsibility will be to service existing HVAC/Building Automation/Temperature Control Systems, checkout, commissioning and implementation of installation projects, and training of technical labor. Additional duties will include:
• Complete typical installation of software programming.
• Provide jobsite coordination for panel and field device physical locations.
• Manage and complete the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required.
• Cable / conduit installation and wiring terminations as required.
• Effectively communicate the status of projects to management for the purpose of managing costs, billings, and collections on assigned projects.
• Responsibilities could include independent ownership of a turnkey project or working with a project team and project managers as part of larger projects.
• Support project transition from installation to service.
• Responsibilities may include support of the service department for emergency service calls and/or programming support
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical assistance to associate controls technicians.

Position Requirements
• The ideal veteran candidate for this position will have previous experience with electronics, computer programming, and/or electrical aptitude. Translatable experience would be Nuke, ET, FC, and EM roles in the military.
• Successfully demonstrate thorough knowledge of a technical or specialty area.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer relation skills.
• Self-Starter – will be working independently.
• Customer service attitude – will be representing the company in high stress situations, so must be able to diffuse any tension and provide a high level of service.
