Title: Fire Alarm Service Technician
Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Typically, M-F / day shift
Compensation: $60-70k starting annualized wage DOEQ / OT as permitted. Company vehicle and tools provided. Merit bonus and promotion based on proven performance.

Company is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Fire Alarm Service Technician to join their growing team in the Austin area. In this role, you’ll handle the service, repair, and troubleshooting of fire alarm and life safety systems for a global leader in integrated building solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, program, repair, and maintain fire alarm and life safety systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to customers
• Read and interpret schematics and manuals
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
• Work closely with supervisors and project teams to deliver high-quality service
• Minimal overnight travel; mostly local work
Must-Have Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of hands-on field experience in fire alarm systems
• Strong troubleshooting, electrical, and mechanical skills
• Working knowledge of NFPA codes
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred (but not required):
• NICET or manufacturer certifications (Honeywell, Notifier, Simplex, etc.)
