Basic Job Functions
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all production machinery and facility utilities.
- Support plant operations while collaborating with other departments to plan improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement in production tracking, process efficiency, and plant automation.
- Assist with documentation, training, and other mechanical upgrades.
- Work safely at all times, upholding and leading SDI safety policies and procedures.
- Operate on rotating 4-on/4-off shifts
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in industrial or comparable mechanical maintenance.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems safely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearing (gearbox inspections, parallel vs. helical), welding, fabrication, and motor alignment.
- Strong theoretical understanding of mechanical principles.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to interpret drawings for repair, installation, and maintenance of complex systems.
