Position Details:
Title: Field Service Engineer
Location(s): Remote, home-based role in greater Las Vegas, NV (1 opening) and Omaha, NE (1 opening).
Shift: Normal day shift Thu.-Mon, off Tue. & Wed. each week.
Compensation: $74K-$83K + $5K-$8K on average, with potential up to $16K service bonus, paid quarterly + company car with unlimited personal use.

Travel: Up to 90% travel with primary focus on regional area (driving desired, flying when needed) with some national travel. You can expect to be gone overnight for the ”work week” nights, the exception being when you are servicing customers with a reasonable commute of home.
Position Description:
The Service Engineer safely performs product & applications support, maintenance, installation, and repair at customer sites with world-class customer service. Key responsibilities include:
• Inspect, install, maintain, and repair analytical instruments at customer locations.
o ~70% planned/predictive maintenance (replace rollers/belts, basic electronics, etc.)
o ~30% equipment installation &/or emergency repairs
• Train users in software applications and correct equipment operation and maintenance.
• Provide phone support with recommendations to customers.
• Complete, document, and fulfill customer service work orders.
• Work with and support sales/account reps for service and business growth with customers
This role will be directly servicing and supporting the Meatmaster product line (in-line process X-ray device).
Requirements: Good electronics troubleshooting & problem-solving with some mechanical ability.
• Self-motivated individual who thrives independently with outstanding professional customer service.
• Technical problem solver, empathetic listening skills, outgoing personality, positive outlook.
• Ability to use all types of hand tools and digital equipment & read/use blueprints & schematics.
• Strong verbal & written communication & planning/organization skills in fast-paced environments.
• Clean driving record (no major violations last 2 years, no DUIs last 5 years).
• Any experience working on X-ray, automation controls, biomed equipment highly desirable.
