Title: Senior Field Service Technician
Location: Southern CA (OC, SD, LA, metro area, must be able to travel via car/air). Expect to primary support for the SoCal region and domestic/international as needed.
Shift or Travel: First Shift (M-F) / travel can be up to 75 % - 100%. Can be onsite for up to three weeks at a time.
Compensation: $75k - $80K+ base DOEQ w/ annualized bonus and equity. No relocation provided.

Position Description:
As Eos Sr. Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role for company’s success of our field service execution. You will install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, operate, and maintain company’s storage systems in the field. Both domestically and internationally. You will provide customer support and training and work closely with our engineering teams to improve our product and service offerings.

The Sr. Field Service Technician is accountable for system installation, commission and customer support. Reviewing and resolving warranty claims and assisting customers with non-warranty issues. Identifying improvements to the system and working with the system and manufacturing teams to improve the design of the overall DC system (including all system hardware and BMS software functions). Train our customers/partners on installation and commissioning procedures, system operation and best practices. The technician is also responsible for supporting services and maintenance of existing systems.

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair and analyze company commercial BESS as well as third party products y
sold by the company in the field, remote via email, telephone and remote support tools (i.e. AR remote support
tools), and site visits.
• Utilize company provided Field Service and Work Order Management tools to retrieve and update information timely and accurately
• Write reports, train customers, and respond to customers’ concerns regarding the functionality and
performance of their system
• Develop detailed knowledge of company’s commercial products and third-party products sold by the company.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the NEC (National Electric Code)
• On a regular base work with high voltage DC electricity, three phase power, and th e relevant software of the BESS and third part products
• Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice

• At least 6 -10 years of relevant hands-on troubleshooting experience that can be applied to energy storage service and operations
• Previous FS experience performing install and commissioning of electrical systems
• Experience in applied problem-solving methodology
• Knowledge using data acquisition tools, data logging, metering and electrical instrumentation.
• Electrical safety training, NFPA70E or similar

• Medium Voltage/ Substation experience preferred
• Ability to work independently, and proactively with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate challenges in a forthright and accurate manner
• Solid Computer skills: Windows, Office, Programming (PLC, controls experience a plus)
• Awareness of electrical, crane, forklift and construction work safety.
• Understanding of DC Electrical systems and controls.
• Knowledge using data acquisition tools, data logging, metering and electrical instrumentation.
• Exceptional communication skills: ability to lead by example and through influence
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work at field installations up to 100% of working time for up to three weeks at a time.
• Ability to work at great heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, lift at least 50 pounds frequently
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
