Title: Field Service Project Engineer (JMO Leadership Development Program)
Location: Orlando, FL
Shift: Normal Day Shift

Compensation: First Year Total Compensation = $171k – 192k
• Base Salary = $110k – 120k
• Bonus Plan = 10% Target Bonus (approx. $10k) = $11k – 12k/yr
• Overtime (when leading a project team) = $50k – 60k/yr
• plus, daily per diem (while traveling), plus All Travel Rewards (all hotel and flight rewards)
• Second Year Total Comp = $200k+

Position Description:
This position/program is a developmental project engineering role where you will need to thrive in ambiguity and use your leadership and relationship building skills to influence large multi-functional teams to solve technical, production, and logistics problems in the power generation industry. This role will report to the director of operations for Field Service North America and take supporting and lead roles in multiple concurrent service and strategic business projects and require little to no direct supervision; while learning the larger business and operation! Specific functions will include:
• During your first 12 months, you will complete classroom and lab training in Orlando and participate in on-the-job training with experienced engineers, working at multiple customer sites across the US.
• You will work directly with leading staff of field service engineers to develop skills that include equipment operation, maintenance, job site safety, project management, leadership, and Company's business systems
• Once you complete training, as a Field Service Engineer, you'll be supervising technicians and mechanics working on turbine generator equipment during power plant maintenance shutdowns (outages), both planned and unplanned system outages which can occur due to equipment performance issues.
• Coordinating large service and modification projects for power plants around the world.
• Leading multi-functional field and office teams through influence to complete short- and long-term improvement and business operations projects.
• You will collaborate with company worldwide engineering staff to perform niche mechanical and electrical testing
• You will serve as the primary customer contact during outages and ensure repairs are made in a timely and accurate manner
• While deployed, you will work extended working hours of up to 12-14 hours per day including weekends/holidays.
• Create and execute business plans and presentations to senior internal and customer executives.


Requirements:
• Looking for O-3 and early O-4 Junior Military Officers with excellent leadership and a strong track record of success and results.
• Ability to form strong genuine relationships with coworkers and customers!
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently and operate independently of direct supervision.
• Candidates should have a background in leading maintenance and engineering
