Job Description
Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complete project organization, scheduling, and delegation of responsibilities.
- Review and approve project submittals and shop drawings.
- Coordinate equipment release and subcontractor activities.
- Manage project billing, cost tracking, and financial documentation through project completion.
- Oversee the submittal, approval, and execution of the Change Order Management process.
- Maintain coordination and communication with general contractors and subcontractors.
- Handle purchasing coordination and procurement of project materials.
- Participate in project start-up and closeout activities.
- Ensure consistent and accurate project documentation and correspondence.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving and decision-making skills throughout project phases.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance and adherence to company safety and productivity standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Construction Executive Vice President.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
- Minimum of 6 years of commercial HVAC construction project experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of leadership experience.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with internal and external clients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to talk, listen, and communicate clearly via phone and in person.
- Ability to attend site project meetings and walk project sites.
- Must be able to speak and understand English clearly.
