Description

You will manage, direct, and accept accountability for all field activities and reporting functions associated with the construction of homes in assigned communities. The position provides leadership in coordinating all activities within the new home construction process to optimize the effectiveness of trade partners, ensure compliance with quality assurance and customer satisfaction standards, and maintain a safe work environment. This role requires a high level of ownership for all outcomes on the site, including home builds, site conditions, and the customer experience. You will be assigned to an experienced Superintendent III as your supervisor/mentor for training. The average construction cycle time for a home is 90 days (from bare land to handing the customer the keys). The training program is structured around these process steps and major milestones. Most trainees finish the program in 4-5 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Site Ownership & Management: Exhibit a high level of ownership for all outcomes on the Assistant Superintendent's site, including home build execution, site presentation, and overall customer experience.
  • Field Operations: Manage, direct, and accept accountability for all field activities and reporting functions associated with home construction in assigned communities.
  • Trade Partner Leadership: Provide leadership to optimize the effectiveness of trade partners, consistently hold and facilitate daily onsite trade meetings, and verify trade partner scopes of work before operations begin.
  • Schedule Control: Update the construction schedule daily for assigned homes, hold trade partners and suppliers accountable to timelines, ensure homes are next-trade-ready, and maintain projected delivery milestones for the community team.
  • Quality Assurance & Inspections: Walk every room of every house every day. Complete milestone Quality Assurance inspections, verify selected options, document corrective actions, follow up on completion, and deliver a defect-free home to the customer.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Establish and maintain regular, proactive communication with assigned customers, log all conversations, and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion.
  • Safety & Site Standards: Conduct weekly site safety audits, immediately correct non-compliant behaviors, ensure proper OSHA-compliant documentation and MSDS are maintained, and ensure trades clean and sweep all homes and job sites free of debris at the end of each day.
  • Agency & Community Relations: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with local government agencies and inspectors, while keeping all site marketing windows and entrances in a clean, presentable condition.
Power Marketing & Support for Structured Offtake:
  • Work closely with Market Analytics and Origination teams to evaluate market opportunities, customer demand, and revenue considerations that inform development strategy and project prioritization.
  • Support the preparation of project-specific commercial materials and pricing inputs for bilateral opportunities, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and structured offtake processes.
  • Assist in the evaluation, execution, and negotiation support of long-term structured transactions with wholesale, utility, C&I, municipal, cooperative, and retail counterparties.
  • Conduct research on customer energy procurement strategies, decarbonization goals, integrated resource planning, and market needs to help shape Peregrine's commercial approach.
