As a Sales Leader, you will be challenged with a variety of responsibilities that will keep you learning, engaged, and motivated. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Introducing new products.
• Developing the business for existing customers and opening new markets.
• Managing the relationship between company and the independent dealers.
• Training reps on new products and systems.
• Meeting with vendors and reviewing goals, planning sales events, etc.

Position Details:
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary: Commensurate and Competitive with experience level (high base salary + bonus structure).
Training: You will take part in an intensive sales development regimen that will involve training sessions at our PA headquarters, which is geared to quickly integrate new Sales candidates into the company’s professional sales force. You will spend anywhere from 6-12 weeks based at HQ in Coopersburg, PA to learn our products and develop a strong network and then move into the field. Additionally, you will be trained on the skills needed to be a successful Lutron sales person including negotiation, presentation, closing, sales strategy, account management, etc. In parallel, you will have the opportunity to shadow existing sales people in the field.
Travel Requirements: Territory based - up to 25%+.

Requirements:
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least a 2.8 GPA for Engineers, 3.0 GPA for non-Engineer degrees.
• Must have leadership experience gained from active duty military service.
• Must be willing to travel 25%+ of your time (locally/regionally from your permanent location).
• Due to the technical nature of some of our products and channels, an engineering, energy, architecture, sales, marketing, general business or industrial distribution degree is a plus, but not required.
• Must be persuasive, capable of leading and managing in a matrixed, influence based organization.
• Must be able to manage representatives.
• Must be driven to go above and beyond and do what it takes to overcome obstacles and achieve the mission.

Initially, you will take part in an intensive sales development regimen that will involve training sessions at Lutron’s headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. This training spans 6-12 weeks and is designed to quickly integrate new sales candidates into Lutron’s professional sales force. Once you complete training, you will transition into the field and begin your sales career at Lutron.
