Description
Support North American operations by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-precision CNC machine tools. Ideal for candidates with strong electro-mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair skills. CNC experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install/commission CNC machine tools
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Read/interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Train customers on equipment usage and best practices
- Collaborate with Applications Engineers
- Submit accurate service reports, timesheets, and expenses
- Maintain professional, customer-facing demeanor
Requirements:
- Experience with CNC machine tool installation/repair
- Skilled in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Able to read electrical schematics
- Proficient with tools and electrical test equipment
- Familiarity with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines
- Strong math, mechanical aptitude, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Technical/Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Preferred:
- Field service experience in CNC/machine tool industry
- Hydraulic or pneumatic troubleshooting
