Description

Position Title: Field Service Supervisor, Modernization Superintendent

Location: Hartford CT

Salary: $95k-$130k with company truck and Quarterly and Annual bonus incentives

Position Description:

The main goal of the role is to provide day-to-day management and training of field staff, including employee selection, field training and safety. This individual will also lead operational efforts and ensure superior customer satisfaction.

On a typical day you will:
• Ensure all aspects of field safety
• Meet with customers to ensure obligations and expectations are achieved
• Direct the performance of field maintenance and contractual service operations
• Conduct field education training with field workforce
• Maintain customer quality assurance, managing the expenditure of labor and materials
• Improve efficiencies, managing route schedules and callback rates
• Provide technical support, participating in sales estimation / proposals as required
• Authorize repair orders and tracking completion
• Lead change to better efficiency and communication


Areas of responsibility include
• All field training including but not limited to safety and new product
• Quality assurance to Company and the customer
• Route control and scheduling
• Improving efficiencies, safety, callback rates, and technical support
• Managing the expenditure of labor, materials and other assets


Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or any related field experience preferred with Military experience
• Be an organized self-starter with excellent time and project management skills
• Possess a strong technical background
• Have prior supervisory/management experience leading a technical team, preferably in a union environment
• Have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at multiple levels within the organization
• Possess strong listening, interpersonal and communication skills
• Have the ability to interpret basic financial statements and grasp profit and loss accountability
• Be results oriented
• Have a customer focused outlook
• Be a team player
• Have the initiative and motivation to be successful in a demanding, technical environment
• Be energetic and enthusiastic
• Will demonstrate strength in business judgment and decision making
• Excellent computer skills with full control of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point)
