Description
Seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support critical power facilities, with a focus on automatic transfer switch (ATS) startups, warranty work, emergency service calls, and modifications. Must be customer-service oriented and capable of advancing within the company. Responsible for field service operations including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and client communication, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and codes.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 3+ years’ experience in field service engineering and power equipment
- Experience with low/medium voltage switchgear, ATS testing
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Strong project management and decision-making skills
- Excellent customer service and time management
- Valid driver’s license and ability to be on-call 24/7
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- (Preferred) Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of power distribution, DC/AC systems, and troubleshooting
