Orion Talent, the nation’s largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for the Director of Finance position with the world's leading venue management company and producer of live event experiences.

Position Details
Location: Rochester, MN
Compensation: $120K + 15% bonus
Shift: 8 am – 5 pm, Mon – Fri, occasional night and weekend shifts
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, paid PTO, and tuition reimbursement
Vaccine Requirement: Company does not have a vaccine requirement

Position Description
As Director of Finance, your responsibilities will include:
• Plan and direct all aspects of financial and accounting activities at facility, to include reviewing contracts for building lease, clients, events, subcontractors, parking, and concessionaires.
• Assist in development and implementation of facility goals relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal law and company policies.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, annual budget, and annual report and analyze financial performance and cost analyses for all departments.
• Direct supervision and development of Accounting Department.
• Coordinate appropriate insurance coverage with Risk Management Department and Insurance Broker.
• Prepare statements and reports of estimated future expenses and revenues as well as preparing and executing event settlements.
• Act as Manager on Duty as required.

Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s of Science from a four-year college or university required, advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in public accounting and/or financial management at a supervisory level.
• Extensive working knowledge of general and cost accounting, as well as developing and managing budgets.
• Working knowledge of accounting software, preferably Sage, and Microsoft Office software, specifically MS Excel and word processing software.
• Excellent math, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and supervisory skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines, with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays in addition to regular business hours.
• MBA, CMA, or CPA is preferred.
