Description
As a Field Service Technician, you will perform service, maintenance, installation, and repairs on industrial generators and related systems. You’ll work with other technicians to ensure safe, high-quality service that keeps customers running.
Location: Home-based in Greater Dearborn, MI (Detroit Metro area, within 45 minutes of the shop)
Shift: Primarily Monday–Friday, daytime hours (with occasional emergency service)
Compensation:
- Level 3: $28–$32/hr
- Level 2: $32–$36/hr
- Overtime: After 8 hours daily

Key Responsibilities:
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial generators and systems
- Conduct failure analysis and recommend solutions
- Certify electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems
- Operate and maintain company service trucks and tools
- Stay current on product updates and changes
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with industrial generators
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic software tasks
- Clean driving record; pass background check, drug screen, and DOT physical
- Level 3: External generator repairs (belts, hoses, water pumps, bolt-ons)
- Level 2: Internal generator engine repairs
