Position Details:
• Title: Associate Project Developer
• Location: Boulder, CO
• Travel/Schedule: You can expect to travel occasionally throughout the Central US (up to 7 or 8 overnights per month) to meet with different stakeholders, agencies, etc.
• Compensation: Target base salary ~$100K-$110K
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Annual performance bonus incentive (varies widely); you can expect significant increases in income after several years (along with potential equity opportunities) due to this being a new and explosive industry with very strong projected growth.

Position Description: In this role you will be responsible for advancing pipeline renewable energy projects (primarily battery storage projects, but also renewable power) from inception through commercial operation. You will be involved with all aspects of project development, such as real estate negotiation, management of interconnections to power grids, permitting requirements, preliminary engineering requirements, sequencing and linking of construction events, etc. The position will support the development department and report directly to the Director of Development. Projects may be located in multiple different states and periodic travel will be expected (primarily in Central U.S.). A successful candidate will demonstrate a desire to grow their renewable energy knowledge, dig deep into the nuances of project development and regularly engage with subject matter experts outside of the development team. All members of the development team need to be results-oriented, have an excellent ability to work with others and a desire to solve complex problems. Some essential responsibilities include:
• Work within the larger Development team to drive projects forward to commercial operation or divestment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project development
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets
• Conduct market, land and regulatory research
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage a complex and prioritize a complex pipeline
