Description
The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for correctly maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to achieve manufacturing process yield and productivity goals. The technician provides a level of equipment maintenance support that will result in improved machine availability and performance. You must anticipate and diagnose problems, perform scheduled maintenance procedures, and record machine status and requirements.
Requirements:
- 5+years of experience performing installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical equipment (semiconductor is a plus).
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals
- Able to work in a clean room environment while wearing personal protective safety equipment, or cleanroom suit.
- Frequently position oneself (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, stand) to perform job tasks for extended periods.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software including Microsoft Office Suite
- Communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Foundational analytical and problem-solving skills.
Shift:
Day: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm Night: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
Salary/Benefits: $28-$38 per/hr. base wage (depending on experience) + built in OT due to compressed schedule & 15% shift diff for night schedule
