Description
- Provide technical assistance in the design, application, installation, and troubleshooting of equipment line controllers.
- Serve as a point of contact with associated personnel inside and outside the company at various levels including engineering and sales support.
- Recommend materials and designs based on special customer requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment changes and installation techniques.
- Provide after-sales technical support and service as required, including on-site visits to support electrical installations if necessary.
- Work with engineering, sales support, and after-sales departments to resolve issues related to equipment function and application.
- Analyze regional market demand, collect feedback and customer requests, develop new solutions, and initiate regional product development.
- Develop documentation, manuals, and additional material to support products and provide training.
- Perform detailed review of project specifications, schedules, and design drawings.
- Recommend product improvements to ensure ease of installation and improved function.
- Develop testing and troubleshooting procedures for installation and operation.
- Establish installation standards in collaboration with the after-sales department.
- Support all regional offices and training/development programs.
- Assist the sales team with special quotations such as spare parts or unique customer requirements.
- Perform other projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to design wiring diagrams
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills
Travel: Must be open to 20% travel around the US
