Go to end ⇓Seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations within the facility. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, improving equipment reliability, managing maintenance personnel, overseeing capital and repair projects, and ensuring a safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with hands-on mechanical, electrical, and process control expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Oversee equipment repairs, installations, and maintenance projects.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process control issues.
- Manage maintenance budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Safety, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- 5-7+ years of progressive maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Previous maintenance leadership or management experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Strong background in electrical systems and process controls.
- Experience managing maintenance budgets and maintenance personnel.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Welding and Millwright experience.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Experience leading reliability-centered maintenance initiatives.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems.
- Experience managing outside contractors and service vendors.
- Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or TPM experience.
- Experience in process manufacturing environments.
- Project management and capital equipment installation experience.
