This role is responsible for controlling Maintenance & Repair (M&R) costs, managing out-of-service (OOS) equipment levels, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring company safety and repair standards are met. You will serve as a key field-based point of contact between vendors, logistics teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain equipment availability and service levels.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect chassis and enter work orders into the Caliber M&R system at assigned locations
• Monitor and control M&R costs for chassis across specified facilities
• Manage OOS equipment levels, including repair estimate approvals and repair limit compliance
• Communicate regularly with logistics teams regarding equipment availability and requirements
• Update chassis OOS status and repair notes in the M&R system
• Conduct daily visits to local container yards to ensure M&R issues are addressed and policies are enforced
