This person will be responsible for installing and servicing parking access control, vehicle entry systems, and building access control systems in a geographic area that includes Southeastern, Central, and Western Virginia. Equipment includes parking gates, ticket dispensers, license plate recognition cameras, facility management software, slide and swing gate operators, card readers, and telephone entry systems, as well as integration of these systems into existing networks.

As a Power Systems Engineer, you will support the full lifecycle of integrated electrical controls projects—including design, development, wiring schematics, PLC programming, protective relay setup, commissioning, and ongoing service. We are looking for individuals to commission mission critical center equipment systems, such as power generation and distribution systems, uninterruptible power supplies, static transfer switches, PDU's, BAS & BMS systems and HVAC equipment. The candidate must have a working knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical systems or equivalent industry experience with proven customer service skills. Experience associated with industrial level generators, Uninterruptable Power Supplies, HVAC and Power conditioning equipment is a benefit. The candidate should be technically competent on test equipment such as: AC/DC amp probe, digital voltmeter, phase rotation meters, battery conductance tester, battery load tester and micro-ohm meter. This position will require a minimum of 75% travel. The position will require national and/or international travel.
