Service Technician

West
US Navy, E-5

I was a previous candidate with Orion and Jay Koranda back in October and was hired by FMC FoodTech. I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful service you provided me with and for making my transition from the military into the civilian sector smooth as can be. Everyone treated me with the utmost respect and handled my situation with personalized care and professionalism. Many people say it is hard making the transition, and I will tell you it is not as easy as it seems when you are sitting on the deck plates of a ship and considering making this life changing move, but Orion made it much easier on me and my family.

I know that if in the future I am in need of your services, I will not be hesitant to contact you again. The caliber of companies you presented were excellent, and everyone of them that I interviewed with had nothing but great things to say about the quality of candidates you presented to them. In fact, the company I hired on with said that it was the first time they had been to one of Orion’s hiring conferences and that they would definitely come back in search of more employees. The professional approach your team took in making sure that the candidates were up to the challenge of taking that next important step in our lives was also impressive. I am glad that your company is there to help out those who have served our country well and deserve to have the chance to interview with some of the top name companies in America.

I would like to thank you, as well, for helping me with my interview techniques and making sure that I was prepared to land the job for which I qualified. Thanks for helping me through that period of my transition where I was not sure of how to handle negotiations for salary and helping me keep my head up when things didn’t look so good. Last, and certainly not least, thanks to Jay for managing such a great team of recruiters and account executives. I have already recommended some of my shipmates to use your services and will continue to do so when I meet a veteran in search of a job. Again, thank you from me and my family.
