Go to end ⇓As a Core Maintenance Technician, you will support a large, 24/7 food manufacturing operation by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the production equipment and systems that keep the facility running safely and reliably. This is a multi-skilled industrial maintenance role with no mechanical-versus-electrical split. Technicians are expected to work across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls-related systems on the production floor.
The strongest candidates will bring hands-on experience with pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveying systems, 480V electrical troubleshooting, field instrumentation, and PLC troubleshooting at the equipment level. This opportunity is especially well suited for industrial maintenance professionals and military technicians accustomed to complex mechanical spaces, fluid systems, electrical equipment, controls, and disciplined troubleshooting.
Responsibilities

- Maintain and troubleshoot centrifugal and positive displacement pumps and related fluid-handling systems
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting of 480V electrical systems, motors, motor-related equipment, and production machinery
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment from the production floor to identify faults and support equipment recovery; advanced ladder-logic programming is not the primary focus
- Troubleshoot and maintain field instrumentation including RTDs, pressure transmitters, pressure sensors, and related devices
- Maintain motors, gearboxes, conveying systems, and other mechanical power-transmission equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance while supporting equipment reliability and production uptime
- Use safe work practices and follow established maintenance, food-manufacturing, and facility procedures
- Work effectively with operations and maintenance team members to diagnose problems, complete repairs, and return equipment to reliable operation

- Experience with field instrumentation such as RTDs, pressure transmitters, pressure sensors, or comparable process instrumentation
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and related industrial mechanical systems
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting aptitude with the ability to learn and apply new technical information quickly
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a 24/7 industrial manufacturing environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
