- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and workplace procedures
- Maintain high-quality standards and regulatory compliance in all work performed
- Successfully complete and maintain required foundational training and certifications
- Read and interpret electronic technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, continuity testers)
- Operate mechanical lifts (ladders, tiger lifts, snorkel lifts)
- Apply chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, and finishes
- Install aircraft system components including tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, ducts, and interior components
- Route and install wire harnesses and connectors
- Perform fiber optic cleaning, inspection, testing, and installation
- Inspect work quality and control foreign object debris (FOD)
- Work around energized electrical systems and constant noise
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, crouching, bending, and working in confined spaces
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirators as required
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
- 1+ year experience using computer applications (email, internet navigation, Microsoft Office, or similar)
- 1+ year experience reading and following detailed work instructions, blueprints, drawings, or specifications (in English)
- 1+ year experience applying basic mathematical calculations
- 1+ year experience in a technical or mechanical role using basic hand, power, or pneumatic tools
- Ability to work a variable shift
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 10–35 lbs, climbing, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work with high-hazard chemicals
- Ability to complete and maintain Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications
- Must meet U.S. Person export control requirements (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee)
Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
- 3+ years of related mechanical or technical work experience
- Experience installing aircraft system components
- Automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanical background
- Wire routing, mating connections, and harness dressing experience
- Sealant application per specifications
