Seeking motivated individuals for a position as a facility operation engineer in a high-volume, world-class data center. Candidates will be required to take and pass on-site classroom, hands-on and quarterly training program requirements. This training will include emergency generator operations, centrifugal chiller operations, switchgear and uninterruptible power systems operations, as well as ancillary systems such as HVAC and Fire System operation.

There is a strong emphasis on training to acquire entry level operational qualification within one year of hire. Advanced level qualification is expected within 5 years. This position also supports facility maintenance using an established preventative maintenance tracking system. General plumbing, mechanical and electrical skills are preferred but not required. Individuals will be required to work shifts and occasional overtime, as well as successfully pass onsite yearly recertification.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Monitor building and energy management systems; operate data center systems and equipment; respond immediately to urgent situations (e.g., fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns

This role is ideal for individuals with foundational CNC experience who are eager to grow into full setup machinists through hands- on training and mentorship. Team members will contribute immediately while developing advanced machining skills that support critical defense and aerospace manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

• Operate CNC machining centers under the guidance of experienced machinists
• Learn to set up and run parts from start to finish
• Assist in producing precision components per engineering drawings and specifications

This role is responsible for ensuring efficient material sourcing, managing inventory, and supporting production, all while focusing on cost control and operational performance. The successful candidate will work closely with our Production and Quality Control Manager to ensure products are  ready for shipment to contractors on time.

• Manage procurement processes for all materials and supplies required for production
• Create, review, and maintain purchase orders; verify accuracy against receipts and invoices

• Manage day-to-day operations of the batch plant, including scheduling, production, and workforce supervision

• Coordinate and order materials, including cement, aggregates, admixtures, and replacement parts, to maintain uninterrupted plant operations
